Kentucky American Water actually enclosed in your water bill a WATER SHUT-OFF VALVE tag that you can cut out and hang on the valve to make it easy to find in a hurry. Check the envelope that your bill comes in for a brochure called, “It’s time to prepare your home for winter”. There are helpful tips inside about freezing pipes, drafts around windows and doors, etc. And on the back of the brochure is the tag you can cut out to hang on your shut-off valve. If you are a tenant and don’t know where your shut-off valve is located – let us know!

GLUB, GLUB! It looks like we are in for several more days of rain and even thunderstorms. Has Mother Nature forgotten that it’s January?
